Wash Buddy

The Abbey Bike Tools Wash Buddy is designed to work equally well with quick release axle or thru axle bikes, clamping firmly into the rear dropout when you remove the wheel, making it easier to wash or transport the bike.

The Delrin pulley is light, compact and corrosion resistant, so it won't be affected by your bike wash chemicals, and neither will the stainless steel spindle it revolves around. Simply take your loose chain and run it over the pulley, so that it remains taught away from the frame. You will therefore avoid getting chain grease onto your frame, plus be able to spray heavy-duty degreaser on the chain without ruining your cassette.

With the wheel off, you'll have better access to the inside of the chainstays and the derailleur, allowing you to clean all the hard-to-reach corners with less mess. You'll also be able to shift gears as the pulley glides or rotates along the spindle, making cleaning the chain, inspecting the operation of the derailleur and making final adjustments before a race that bit easier.
