Because toddler-aged children’s heads are softer and still growing, using low density foam - and more of it - was the outcome of this partnership. DATA DRIVEN INNOVATION: Coming out of our KTH and Mips partnership, the Mio 2 had increased the amount of low density foam inside by 16.5%, only growing the overall size of the helmet by 2.5%. COMFORT: The Mio 2 may have the latest and greatest technology inside, but that only matters when the helmet is worn properly. That’s why Mio 2 features specific toddler oriented sizing and our SX headset fit system, to help it stay properly fitted and comfortable, whenever it is worn. The easy-to-use tri-fix web splitter makes getting a ‘fuss-free’ fit incredibly simple, all adding up to a helmet they’ll beg to wear.
