Raw Granite - Bolt-on

Our Granite Holds are where it all began. From our founding, our goal was to bring the feeling of real stone to the artificial walls where we train. Doing so lets us train our skin, fingers, and technique to be as applicable to outdoor climbing as possible. It also keeps us in contact with climbing's roots even during those grueling training cycles in the dead of winter. There is no better way to train for outdoor rock climbing.

Every granite hold is unique. When we cut them, we search the entire stone for its most interesting features and preserve these to be mounted and climbed on. The holds can be used at every angle and for any type of route; inspiring and challenging both the route setter and the climber. 

Sustainability: Our granite climbing holds are sourced from quarries in Norway, where they are extracted as a byproduct from tunneling operations. This means that while the primary purpose of the quarry is to extract materials for infrastructure development, the granite suitable for climbing holds is salvaged and repurposed, avoiding waste and maximizing the utilization of this precious resource.

The exact shape of each stone depends on the texture and structure of Norwegian granite in our current batch.
