• Ball studs forged from higher carbon SAE4140 steel for a stronger impact resistance and a longer-life, more durable joint - and then enclosed in forged SAE1045 housings, heat treated for strength and durability.
• Sealed, maintenance-free design
• Induction-hardened stud head for a much harder, more durable, longer lasting stud wear surface, and induction-hardened housing to match the hardened stud surface, yielding an extremely long lasting part.
• CNC-machined housing for cleaner fit surfaces. The housings sit flush in the mating part because the surface is machined to match.
