This is a Set of Three Nesting Tables, designed by Kai Kristiansen for Skovmand & Andersen in the 1960s. The set was produced in Denmark, and was imported by Edgaard Inc. in Los Angeles, CA. The listed price includes the set of three tables as shown. They are comprised of teak and walnut, having tapered legs with sculptural stretchers on each side. It is rather unusual that this set is constructed of walnut and teak, as most pieces that were imported from Denmark during this time period featured teak only.
The tables measure as follows:
Large: W 24" x D 15.75" x H 19.5"
Medium: W 19.75" x D 15.75" x H 18.5"
Small: W 15.75" x D 15.75" x H 17.5"
All three of the tables show some surface wear, having some water marks and some wear to the veneer. We have lightly sanded the tables and have oiled them. Overall, this charming set is in good condition. Please see photos.
