Mil-Tech '09 is a 'toy box book' for modern military gamers interested in the D20 Modern ruleset, hopefully one of the best books of its kind you'll find. Mil-Tech '09 introduces the military skills, tactics and weapons I wish were included in the core D20 Modern Rules. From rules for germ warfare to stats for heavily armored Secret Service vehicles, if a rule element is inspired by the best in military and spy fiction, you'll find it in here. Most of the new weapons and gear are inspired by real world technology, but some elements found here, like Grunt areosol, or comms tattoos, are still a few years in the future. I've tried to keep these elements plausiable and suitable for inclusion in most modern spy campaigns, as well as near future cyberpunk adventures. Mil-Tech series future releases will allow me to bring my love of all things Clancy or G.I. Joe inspired to a rule system uniquely suited for emulating the genre. Gear up, Lock and Load!
