Camloc Keenserts are robust, solid inserts, usually crafted from stainless steel. They're available in a variety of metric and imperial thread sizes for diverse applications. These inserts boost thread strength in low-strength materials like alloys, steel, and cast iron. They're perfect for restoring damaged or stripped threads, allowing replacement with the same size thread. Keenserts use 'kees' that, upon installation, provide additional mechanical lock against rotation and vibration. Each Keensert comes with 2 or 4 pre-assembled kees, depending on the external thread size. Once kees are installed in the parent material, the insert is securely locked in place, making it challenging to remove. The solid design ensures longevity with repeated tightening and loosening of the bolt. A dry film lubrication on the surface safeguards the screw from galling.
