The Virtual Halo is the latest accessory created by iRobot for its Roomba model to help homes with pets. A sleeve slides over the Virtual Wall to create a halo-shaped protective zone around pet bowls or other items on the floor, allowing the Roomba to clean around these items without bumping into them. The Virtual Wall Halo sets up a protective zone and guides Roomba around obstacles such as water bowls to keep the contents intact. The protective zone is approximately 20 inches in diameter.
To set up the Halo, the user has to take the iRobot Virtual Wall out of the sleeve and set the Virtual Wall to Auto mode and fully insert it into the Halo sleeve. After that the user places the Virtual Wall Halo on the floor, level with Roomba, and in close proximity to the bowls or other objects the user wishes the Roomba to avoid.
If you already have iRobot virtual walls, the virtual halo will work seamlessly.
