An allegorical work of art by Barbadian artist Kolongi Braithwait inspired by the story of Samson in the Temple of Dagon. When he destroyed the house of his oppressors by bringing down the two pillars that held up the home.

Kolongi also uses the story to show how we in this day and age can use our inner strength to bring down the pillars that are holding up "Babylon" a metaphor for the "Forces of Darkness" and the evils of Sexism, Racism, Exploitation and Slavery.

This is an open edition giclee on paper. Measures 28x22 inches (image size); 29.25x23.25 (paper size).
