The NET485-MB is a reliable Modbus adapter that converts a serial port using Modbus RTU/ASCII Master/Slave to a Modbus TCP Ethernet port without requiring software changes. This compact RS485 to Modbus converter packages all the necessary software to transform serial Modbus data streams into Modbus TCP Ethernet packets. The optional Tx/Rx termination resistors can be configured using the built-in jumpers to ensure seamless connectivity for RS485 Modbus networks. The NET485-MB Modbus connector is UL, CE, and RoHS certified, meeting international safety and environmental standards. Temperature range is -40ºC to 85ºC (-40ºF to 185ºF). Software Preloaded with Modbus firmware, this Modbus to RS485 solution maps all serial Modbus commands and registers to Ethernet Modbus TCP commands with ease.
