EB Electron

The EB Electron is a performance shoe made to be comfortable for leisure climbers through to the more experienced. We might be used to seeing EB's in old Mountain magazines but these are a fully modern shoe designed to be exceptionally comfortable for advanced climbers. This could be your all-day shoe geared towards more technical climbs.
The Electron is a moderately stiff shoe with a full sole of 5mm of OptimaX rubber that performs particularly well on small edges. OptimaX rubber is a high end rubber compound, that combines maximum friction and grip, exceptional rebound capacity and really good durability; these shoes will really last. It has slight asymmetry and slight downturn and unlike most shoes designed with comfort in mind it is quite pointed, which makes them better on more technical ground, think endless tiny limestone edges of the Verdon and Buoux.
The upper is made of EVO microfibre which adapts to the shape of the foot for maximum fit and rubber on the toe allowing better toe hooks. The double velcro gives quick on/off ability and support through the arch.
