This is a Drop dining chair, originally designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1958 for the iconic SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen and reissued by Fritz Hansen. This particular example was produced in 2024. The Drop chair features a teardrop-shaped seat that hugs the body with subtle curves. The seat is upholstered in a rustic leather and rests on slender chromed steel legs.
The chair measures 21.3 inches deep, 17.7 inches wide, and 34.6 inches high, with a seat height of 18 inches. This piece does show light wear from previous use, including minor discoloration on the leather. Overall, the chair is in good to very good condition. Please see photos.
