Barolkleen is a cleaning solution used to prepare both new and used barrels for storing beer or wine. It is used in new barrels to reduce excess tannins.
Instructions:
- Mix 1 pound of Barolkleen with 5 gallons of hot water.
- Soak in barrel for 3 days.
- Drain and flush 3 times with water.
- Rinse with a solution of 2 ounces sodium sulfite, 1 ounce citric acid, and 2 gallons of water.
Contains: Sodium sesquicarbonate, soda ash, and lye.
